I’m not sure how many of you know i’m studying to become a Hipprocrates medical and lifestyle coach. This has been an incredible learning journey and it’s not over yet. My quest for health and vitality pushes me to further my knowledge every day, so I can put into practise what I’ve learnt and in turn reach out to as many people as possible.

This year has been a mixed blessing.I lost three very dear friends to cancer. Cancer is on the rise and mostly can be prevented before it even starts by looking at the diet. Meat, dairy, sugar, alcohol and tobacco are all known carcinogens. Cutting out or down on these can save your life.

Detoxing your body is paramount to good health. In order to be healthy you need to look at the the biome of your gut. We all have good and bad bacteria in our gut. Unfortunately eating a typical western diet allows the bad bacteria to proliferate causing leaky gut.

Anyone suffer from acid reflux, bloating, gas, aches and pains, headaches, poor complexion and general tiredness ? These can all be signs of an over growth of bad bacteria. That’s the bad news. The good news is you can remedy this by having a good clean out.

I recommend a three day juice cleanse and wheatgrass every day. You can have a soft, medium or hard core cleanse. The main benefit is you will loose weight, kill off the bad bacteria and feel good afterwards.

If you’re pondering over this, don’t for long. Dare I say Christmas is coming.

New to the cleanses are living food smoothies. Sprouted nuts and seeds which contain living enzymes and all the essential amino acids. They taste yummy too. I PROMISE!
